Daisy is a sweet and spirited twelve-year-old girl who has made meaningful progress during her time in residential placement over the past several years. She brings joy to those around her with her playful personality, warm spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. Those who know Daisy best often describe her as fun-loving, cheerful, and most often in a positive mood. Staff members frequently share that Daisy enjoys joking around and has an infectious laugh that brightens the environment around her.
Daisy enjoys a variety of activities that reflect both her playful and curious nature. She loves puzzles and princess-themed activities, and she especially enjoys the stimulation and entertainment of playing games or watching videos on her tablet, which she earns through participation in her daily routines and expectations.
Daisy benefits from support in areas such as daily living tasks, educational activities, hygiene routines, and physical exercise. She has made encouraging progress in her communication skills and uses a variety of methods to express her needs and preferences.
One of Daisy’s favorite activities is exercising on the treadmill while listening to music, which she finds both calming and enjoyable. During warm, sunny weather, she especially loves relaxing on her favorite swing and soaking up the sunshine.
Like all children, Daisy thrives with consistency, patience, encouragement, and loving support. One of the most meaningful relationships in her life is the close bond she shares with one of her older sisters. During their twice-monthly visits, the two enjoy singing, snuggling, and playing together.
