Jace Summer 2025.jpg

Jace

Batter up! Jace is stepping up to the plate!

When first meeting Jace, he may come across as shy—but once he feels comfortable and builds trust, his bright personality shines through. Jace is an active, energetic, and fun-loving young boy who enjoys playing with police car toys or anything mechanical that lights up or makes noise. He loves swimming, riding his bicycle, watching movies, going to church, and listening to Christian music. Sports are a big part of his life too—baseball is his favorite, but he also enjoys basketball and staying active outdoors.

Jace takes pride in being responsible and independent. He can fold his laundry, make his bed, pick up his room, and choose his clothes for school. He does well at school with both peers and teachers. This past summer he had a great time attending baseball camp, and in the fall he played on his local rec league, an experience he absolutely loved.

Some of Jace’s favorite outings include trips to NH Fisher Cats baseball games, afternoons at the park, swimming at the YMCA, and getting ice cream. These moments bring him joy and allow him to connect with others in meaningful ways.

Jace attends church every Sunday and identifies as Christian. His faith is an important and steady part of his life. He loves Christian music and proudly sings in the church choir. Jace continues to maintain healthy and supportive connections with his former long-term foster parents and has positive community visits with members of his maternal birth family. These relationships are meaningful to him, and ongoing support in maintaining them is essential.

When thinking about his future family, Jace says he would love a home with another child around his age—someone to play with and grow alongside. He hopes for a family who will support him, stay committed, and honor his connection to church by attending with him or ensuring he can continue to go. Maintaining his current relationships is very important to him, and he needs a family willing to help nurture those connections.

Jace is an amazing kid with a big heart and a love for life. A trauma-informed family who is ready to be fully committed to him will help Jace continue to grow, heal, and thrive.
