Meet sweet Lavender. She is a precious 14 year old girl who loves arts and crafts, music, being outside and dancing. She is kind and has a witty sense of humor. She loves animals, especially horses. She utilizes a tablet and an eye gaze device to communicate. She is working hard to increase her skills in communication using her AAC devices.  Lavender has extensive medical needs that require constant attention. Lavender requires being fed through a tube. She needs a family that will be a strong advocate for her complex medical care. She will need help with daily living skills as well. 
She would love a home that is laid back, can keep her active in her community, and be a strong advocate for her needs. She would be happy in a home with our without other children. She loves animals, so a home with animals would be wonderful for Lavender. The preferred location of the home would be close to medical facilities, is handicapped accessible and equipped with access to physical and occupational therapy.
